Privacy
ArchiveClarity is made by Clarity Bytes, LLC. This page covers this website and the waitlist. The app will ship with its own privacy policy before launch.
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address;
- the optional answers you pick (AI tools, platforms, other things you'd archive);
- where you came from, if the link you used had a
utm_sourceorreftag; - your country, as reported by our hosting provider. We don't store your IP address.
We use this only to email you about ArchiveClarity: a welcome email when you join, the beta invite, and the occasional build update. Emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. We don't sell or share your data. It lives in a Cloudflare D1 database. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your entry deleted entirely, email contact@claritybytes.com.
This website
The site is static and served by Cloudflare. It doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
The app (when it ships)
ArchiveClarity is designed so we never see your files or conversations. Scanning and browsing happen on your computer. Backups are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your passphrase, and that key is never sent to us. We'll publish the full policy and technical details before the beta.
